Family Support Workers

A 2022 poll revealed that over half of all parents with young children in Britain are struggling financially or with their mental health, as 1 in 3 struggle to get professional support. 59% of parents say they are struggling with their mental health, and parents with very young children cite a lack of support as a key factor in their struggle.

Family Support Workers (FSW) provide support, advice, and information to families and pupils within LEO Academy Trust. We can assist you with any worries that you may have in regards to your child's education, behaviour, wellbeing, or can just be someone to talk to when you need to!

Our hope is for the FSW team to remind you that you are not alone, and offer support and resources to aid you and your families wellbeing. A member of our team, based in all LEO schools, will be on hand for families who need support for a wide variety of situations. No crisis is too small, and we are there to help whatever situation you are in.

We aim to engage, empower, and enrich families through offering group work and one-to-one support. All support is confidential; however concerns relating to the safeguarding of our pupils will always be dealt with in accordance with the school's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.

Please feel free to contact us at FSW@LEOacademytrust.co.uk , or come find us in school for a chat.
