#WomenEd and The Maternity Teacher Project will be hosting an online event to explore the impact of the motherhood penalty on the gender pay gap in education, and what we can do to reduce it.

LEO Academy Trust's Director of Teaching and Learning, Shareen Wilkinson, will be speaking at this online event, about her career, background, and how she manages being a working mum. She is also one of Danielle Thomas' (a presenter for The Maternity Teacher Project) role models, and will use this opportunity to discuss her own experiences as a mother in a Senior Leadership Role, and how she copes on a day-to-day basis.
