Kate Ashworth - Principal

Kate is Principal at Shawley Community Primary Academy. Previously, she was Co-Principal at Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy where she was also a teacher for many years. Kate has an abundance of educational experience having taught primary children in all year groups as well as having led key subject areas including her specialism, English. Kate is passionate about school improvement and ensuring all pupils are exposed to a wealth of educational opportunities both within and beyond the classroom allowing them to fully achieve their individual potential.
