Rose Maclean - Trust Art Lead

Rose Maclean is the Trust Art Lead for LEO Academy Trust and brings a strong academic and practical background to the role, holding a BA in Art History and an Art Foundation qualification from University of the Arts London.

As Trust Art Lead, Rose supports the development and delivery of high-quality art curricula across LEO schools, working closely with teachers to ensure creativity, progression, and ambition are at the heart of art education. She delivers CPD for non-specialist teachers, providing practical guidance, modelling, and confidence-building support to help staff deliver engaging and meaningful art lessons.

Rose is also instrumental in leading schools through the Artsmark process, successfully securing awards across the trust, including the recent achievement of an Artsmark Gold Award for Cheam Common Junior Academy. Her passion for the arts, commitment to excellence, and belief in the importance of creative education ensures that pupils across the trust have access to rich, inspiring, and high-quality artistic experiences.
